Aaliyah Kianna Perinatal is the creation of Aaliyah Kianna (they/them), a full-spectrum doula, reproductive health educator, and herbalist. The goal of AKP is to educate, support, and empower families through their perinatal journeys in an evidence-based, inclusive, and compassionate setting.

The mission of Aaliyah Kianna Perinatal is to educate, support, and empower families through their perinatal journeys in an evidence-based, inclusive, and compassionate setting. I center my work through the lens of reproductive justice, trauma-informed care, and ancestral knowledge. I’m a HUGE nerd when it comes to understanding how the body works, how what we ingest influences how the body works, and what we can do to optimize the health and wellbeing of it, while optimizing the embodied experiences we are having. I’m passionate about educating, supporting, and guiding folx through their reproductive health experiences and transitions. Becoming a parent is one of the biggest transition one can go through, yet trying to figure out how to get the information one needs, wade through the fluff to get to the nitty gritty, the core information that will help you make informed and empowered decisions, can feel overwhelming. I created this space to help you get access to evidence-based and compassionate care and information to help you navigate your perinatal health journey, and my goal is to encourage and support you in educating yourself on your upcoming experiences and your options so you can navigate that experience from an informed and empowered space, instead of fear, stress, and overwhelm.
